Snow Day!!!

Well today was suppose to be back to work day for me, but the weather decided differently....we got 4 inches of snow by noon and it is still coming down. I had to call in to work because the roads were so bad and even though I love the time with Taya, I hate to call in and a leave others to cover for me. I hope we can slip and slide our way to work tommorrow, rumor has it that Joplin, only 20 miles away, barely has any snow. They did finally scrape our road and throw some salt on it, so hopefully that will help. Since I had some free time I thought I would take some pics and video of Taya in the snow so you could enjoy them. She loved sledding, only I got the work out pulling her around, not that I couldn't use the work out. We did get to spend some time with our cousins Colton and Bailey and our friend Brekken playing in the snow and Taya loved that!! Colton, Bailey, and Daddy also took their turns pulling Taya in the sled. Hope you like the pics and video.

The Doodlebops!!!!

Well we did it....we saw the Doodlebops live in concert and for those of you that don't know we are BIG fans of DeeDee, Roney and Mo. We have waited a long time for this and we had seats in the fifth row and it was perfect!!! It was so special to see Taya's eyes light up and to see how excited she was. She danced and clapped for 1 1/2 hours straight and I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She is a miracle and so special to use and today was her day and it was perfect!! Here is a brief look at our day!!

We are up and ready to leave for the doodlebops, she is definately going to be the cutest fan there!!!

Before we had ever got to our seats we had bought out the joint......and it was SO much fun!!!A progam, posed picture, snow cone, cotton candy, new dvd, coloring bood, and show light later we finally saw the stage!!!!

And yes....we did finally make it to our seats!!

Flashdance

Many of you know that Taya loves dance class and due to Christmas and New Years it has been 2 wks since we have had dance. However we returned this week and Taya was doing the 80's, leg warmers and all. If I could have only figured out how to add a little "She's a maniac" music to her routine it would have been perfect. So just sing it to yourself and enjoy the clip. This is my first time uploading video, so we will see how it goes. Hope you guys like it!!!! Love, Steph

Not my fault this time!!!

I know....it has been a long time since I posted anything, but this time it isn't my fault. We had some blogger issues. I was unable to log on and they had to reset my password and then we have some other issues, anyway to make a long and boring story short, I'm back and this time it wasn't my fault. We have had a great Christmas, busy but wonderful. Taya loves "ho, ho" as she calls him, that is until she is greeted with the idea of actually meeting him and then she becomes not quite so brave. She loved getting Christmas gifts and wanted each one opened so that she could play with them immediately. Patience is not her speciality!! For some of you I know you didn't get Christmas cards and I'm very sorry. We had 3 days of a power outage and every thing got thrown behind, so I didn't get all my cards sent out. So, since many of you didn't see the adoreable pics of Taya in her Santa hat, I am posting them on my blog for your enjoyment!! Hope you like them. Now that things are working better with the blog, I'm going to try and be as tech cool as Michelle Hodge is on her site and start posting some video clips, but that will have to wait until another night, I have a toddler that needs to go to bed. Taya and the leaves

Taya had a great time this fall playing in the leaves. And of course I was there with my camera to catch every moment. I'm trying to add some pictures that happened throughout the year when I wasn't so great at keeping up with the blog. Keep checking back for all kinds of new, absolutely, adoreable pics!! Taya the diva!!

Sorry these posts are few and far between, however we did get moved into out new house and we have our internet all set up now, so we will see if I get any better. Here are some fun shots that I took of Taya, thought you would enjoy them.

Taya and Dance

Okay, so I'm really not any better at keeping up at this then I was at sending out pictures w/ kodak website, but in my defense we are living with my parents while we are between houses and they have dial up....enough said. We did close on our new house so we will be working hard to get into it. Taya is having a great time living w/ nana and papa, she has started a dance class with our friend Charity and she loves it. She had a great summer and is now enjoying going to the Seneca football games and watching uncle Cody and uncle Kevin coach and Colton play. We are all doing well, hope the same for all of you.
